Podium

  • Provided by EdTech; install with flexi-conduit to wall/gate (path to building penetration for power and data)
  • Box must be mounted at ADA accessible height

  • Must trim internal plate on podium box to fit intercom (see image below)

Door/Gate Hardware

  • Von Duprin Energized Panic Bar & associated hardware
  • Request for exit switch (REX) in the Panic Bar
  • Door Position Sensor for each door in opening
  • Non-Electrified Auto Closer so door shuts appropriately
  • Handles on the door/gate, if not present
  • Rim Cylinder if not present on exterior side of door (provided by District Locksmith)
  • Electrified Power Transfer Hinges
  • Power Supply for Electric Locking with battery backup

Wiring

  • 18/2 wired from Kisi Controller to doors/gates
  • Cat6 wired from Kisi Controller to MDF/IDF
  • Cat6 wired from Kisi Reader and Grandstream Intercom to MDF/IDF
  • Conduit/j-box from building penetrations to gate/podium(s)
